I found a "Start Menu" at the Microsoft Store

I recently wandered into my local Microsoft Store.  It was nice and colorful, and they had a large projector in the back of the store displaying Windows 8 Desktop. After a quick glance, I noticed the words "Start Menu." I immediately had to ask about it.  Here is what it looked like.

That looks like a convenient option.  I found out that it is just a tool bar that you can add to the taskbar, which has been a feature of Windows for a while now. It is just very interesting that it is still called a "Start Menu" by the Windows File System.

In order to create this you need to enable hidden folders and then create a new tool bar like this:

Personally, I went one step farther and just made it go to "Programs" so I have one less click when accessing the menu.  I hadn't heard about this before, but I can't imagine that I am the first person to write a blog post about it.
